Parkland Reads: One Book, One College is about engaging with each other as a community over a commonly shared work of literature, by encouraging students, faculty, staff, and the public to read the same book and participate in discussions and campus events related to the work.
Statement of Purpose
Parkland Reads: One Book, One College is intended to foster academic and civic engagement throughout the Parkland community over a shared work of literature.
How Can YOU Participate?
First, get the book: Check it out at the Parkland Library or buy your own copy at the campus bookstore and receive a 20% discount. Then tell your friends about the book, begin to question your own trash habits and post to the blog! Check the calendar page for what’s happening!
